Vote the Coast is a grassroots organization committed to the protection of California coastal and ocean resources .
Vote the Coast's mission is to achieve coastal protection and conservation.
Vote the Coast recognizes that protection of the California coast is determined by elected officials at all levels of government who control the flow and content of legislation and who determine the composition of the governing body that oversees development along the California coast--the California Coastal Commission. To that end, Vote the Coast works to ensure that the voting public is aware of how their votes affect the future of coastal protection in California.
Vote the Coast endorses candidates for office in coastal districts on behalf of candidates who demonstrate a commitment to coastal protection.
Vote the Coast
networks with coastal activists and environmental organizations to bring awareness of coastal issues to the public and educate voters to the importance of the protection of California's fragile coastal resources.
Vote the Coast is a non-partisan organization with Board members and general membership from throughout the State .
